Fat Freezing

How does fat freezing work?

We use an advanced machine called CryoSkin, developed in Paris, that specializes in Cryolipolysis – a scientific term for fat freezing. Here’s the simple explanation: during treatment, the paddles placed on the targeted area become remarkably cold. This drastic temperature shift effectively kills fat cells for good. Similar to any other dead cells, your body naturally ushers them into its lymphatic system, often referred to as the body’s “sewer system.” From there, they’re eventually expelled as waste. While some cells meet their end instantly, others continue to fade away and are gradually removed within the following two weeks.

How many sessions do I need?

This is a hard question to answer because it depends on several different factors.
– How much do you want to lose?
-What is your current lifestyle?
On average, customers see 1/2″-1 1/2″ lost per session. How you eat and how active you are obviously will speed things along!

Is this right for me?

The ideal customer is someone who has 30-40lbs to lose and has been at that weight for a while. They are not currently in a cycle of life that they are gaining weight and they are committed to seeing these unwanted fat pockets gone. This means they will drink a lot of water, takes walks when possible, continue to eat healthy and make it for regularly scheduled appointments.
The treatments work best when done in a cluster, so anyone starting a package sees best results when they don’t skip treatments.

Does It Hurt?

The treatment is cold but it’s not painful. Similar to sitting on a bag of ice.  All of our technicians have received training and certifications in cryolipolisis. We also place a generous layer of protective gel on the treatment area to prevent damage to your skin from the extreme temperatures. In quite a few of our before and after photos you may even see redness (in a circular shape) from the applicators, as most pictures are taken immediately following a treatment before the client heads home.

Is It Safe?

The process of removing fat cells is something that happens naturally when you eat right and exercise in an effort to lose weight, we’re just speeding the process along by shocking the fat cell with extreme temperatures.  So it’s a very natural and safe procedure.  Most clients come in for a treatment on a lunch hour and return to work directly after. There’s zero down time!

Is It Permanent?

Yes, the results of fat freezing are generally permanent. Once the targeted fat cells are eliminated, they do not regenerate. However, maintaining a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise is important to prevent the growth of new fat cells.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are usually mild and temporary. Common side effects include temporary redness, numbness, bruising, or tingling in the treated area. These effects typically resolve on their own within a few days to weeks.

How Soon Will I See Results?

You will see some inch loss immediately after your procedure, however, some of that is due to cold skin shrinking during the treatment. It does take a few days up to two weeks for fat cells to die and be flushed out of the system. These results are often sped up when used in combination with lymphatic drainage and EMS sessions.  It’s also incredibly important to use the whole body vibe plate as often as possible.
